THE CHALLENGE
Although social management tools are widely used, they are often seen as merely for scheduling posts. Our challenge was to demonstrate to UK businesses how to maximise social media by emphasising the benefits of an engaged and supportive online community, showcasing Sprout Social as an innovative authority in social media trends and strategies for large UK businesses and marketers to utilise.

THE SOLUTION
Through a unified campaign incorporating reports, OOH advertising, digital ads, and press events, we established Sprout Social as a leading voice in helping large businesses connect with their audiences more personally. Different touch points showcased their expertise in social media strategy and the value businesses can gain from it – demonstrating that with Sprout Social, social isn’t just business; it’s personal.

An 'archetype quiz' will be developed, allowing Sprout Social's social community to identify their strategic persona by relating their business to different celebrities. This quiz, hosted on a dedicated landing page, will highlight key product features and demonstrate the significant business impact of social analytics.

A 'Stars of Social Charts' index maps the success of the top 40 celebrities to their social strategies. For instance, Taylor Swift's Instagram live leading to a spike in Spotify downloads. This index provides businesses with a repeatable framework to plan content calendars around strategic moments, generate high engagement, and understand which types of content or events drive spikes in engagement, inspired by successful celebrity actions.

// ADVISORY BOARD

Sprout Social aims to become the go-to advisory partner for businesses with the launch of the "Grow On Social Advisory Board." This initiative offers access to events, webinars, and case studies, showcasing customer success stories and cutting-edge industry insights.

// OOH ADVERTISING

We will launch "A Temperature Check on the Nation," interactive digital billboards at London King's Cross and Manchester Piccadilly. Updated hourly with the latest social media trends and sentiments. People can interact via QR codes for more information and post about the billboards, creating an engagement loop. For businesses, this showcases Sprout Social's expertise in social data collection and insights. Additionally, businesses can filter data by industry, such as retail, on a dedicated microsite.

Geo-targeted ads will also be launched across the UK, delivering personalised insights that showcase Sprout Social's expertise in utilising social media data. This demonstrates how businesses too can leverage social media data with Sprout Social to enhance their strategies.
